One of the greatest teams in the MCU is that of Captain America (played by Anthony Mackie or Chris Evans) and The Winter Soldier. This was seen at the premiere of The Falcon and The Winter Soldier when Mackie and Sebastian Stan’s connection flourished as they portrayed reluctant friends who ended up becoming close friends.

It’s unfortunate that we won’t be able to watch the two together because they are a fantastic duo and the Disney+ series isn’t getting a second season. Additionally, they won’t be appearing in the same forthcoming Marvel films, as far as we know. I completely understand why the Sam Wilson actor is upset about this, as it turns out.

It is common knowledge that Sebastian Stan and Anthony Mackie are close friends and a humorous and dynamic team both on and off-screen. Whether they’re making fun of Tom Holland and each other in real life or squabbling as Sam and Bucky on film.

They’re entertaining to watch, and it’s evident that they enjoy one other’s company as well. Therefore, in an interview with Radio Times, Mackie expressed his disappointment that The Falcon and The Winter Soldier did not receive a Season 2, as it means he will not be able to collaborate with his co-star.

I had a great time performing that show, The Falcon and Winter Soldier. To be honest, I was eager to work on a second season just so Sebastian and I could be paid to hang together. It’s almost like the ideal storm of happiness—me, him, and Daniel Brühl.

Thus, when they made the decision to return to the theater, well, you know what happened—I lost my buddies. It therefore somewhat dampens it. I’m pleased to gift out anything with Daniel Brühl, a dancing Daniel Brühl.

In addition to mentioning Stan, Mackie also mentioned Daniel Brühl, who returned to the Disney+ series as Helmut Zemo. All in all, they were a humorous trio who caused quite a stir when they got together.

They had a great off-screen relationship, which contributed to their on-screen chemistry. The Captain America actor described working with them as “the perfect storm of happiness.”

Given everything, I can understand why, despite the fact that he and Stan are both slated to head future MCU projects, he is disappointed that his show didn’t receive a Season 2. Working together with friends is usually the greatest, and creating anything is always much more enjoyable when done with the people you care about.

Mackie and Stan most certainly won’t be seen together on screen together, based on what we know about Thunderbolts and Captain America: Brave New World. The actor from Sam Wilson has been hard at work on the fourth Cap movie, and when production for Thunderbolts truly gets underway, the actor from Bucky Barnes will be joining the cast.

Both initiatives are exciting, of course. alongside so many intriguing new additions, like Harrison Ford, to Captain America: Brave New World, I can’t wait to see Mackie alongside the rest of the group. And when it comes to Thunderbolts, the group of anti-heroes they’ve brought together is quite epic, with actors Wyatt Russell as U.S. Agent, Florence Pugh as Yelena, and David Harbour as Red Guardian. Additionally, several cast members from The Falcon and The Winter Soldier will appear in both films: Mackie reunites with Danny Ramirez and Carl Lumbly in Cap, while Russell and Stan star in Thunderbolts.

The actor playing Sam Wilson, the new Captain America, Anthony Mackie, has talked candidly about his experiences in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The 45-year-old actor recently discussed how his involvement in the upcoming Captain America: Brave New World is impacted by the cancellation of a second season of The Falcon and the Winter Soldier.

“I had a great time doing the concert. In an interview with the Radio Times, he said, “I was actually looking forward to doing a second season so Sebastian [Stan] and I could get paid just to hang out.” “With Sebastian, Daniel Brühl, and me, it was the ideal storm,” he went on.
