Mumbai: A guy is seen shouting with another passenger over tossing a gutka packet on the platform from a stalled local train in a video that has gone viral from Mumbai’s lifeline, the local train. The authorities were also prompted to respond to the viral video from the Railway Seva’s official handle on X because of the man’s acts that became popular on the internet.

Popular Video Displays Unruly Passenger Behavior

The man is shown in the widely shared video online throwing away a gutka packet from the window of a local train that is stopped. He is seen being questioned by a fellow traveler who is filming him for tossing the gutka package on the station. The guy then replies haughtily, claiming that because he pays for station maintenance, the Railways should be in charge of doing it.

The one who is filming the video goes on to add that he ought to receive an award for it, to which he is heard answering, “Yes, give me an award.” The guy filming the video chastises the man for not keeping the premises clean, and the haughty man can be seen rejecting his advice as the argument between the passengers intensifies into a verbal altercation.

Several people posted the video on X, tagging the Railway Minister, Indian Railways, and other officials to draw attention to the disruptive passenger behavior. After seeing the popular video, the Railway Seva official account replied to a video that an X user had posted.

While obtaining the train’s specifics and the complainant’s mobile phone, the Railway Seva handle promised prompt assistance in the situation. “We’re worried to see this and want to assist as soon as possible. Your train and cellphone numbers are needed, preferably by direct message. For prompt resolution, you may also report your issue immediately via http://railmadad.indianrailways.gov.in or by calling 139, according to Railway Seva.
